She
has led a vast number of engagements for hospitals, hospital systems,
physician groups and managed care agencies. These projects include
hospital/physician integration, post merger integration strategies,
network design and expansion, business development and marketing plans,
market research and strategy development for health services and
products as well as regulatory compliance projects. From 1994 to
February 1996, Ms. Erickson served as Vice-President for Client and
Consulting Services with Dun & Bradstreet Health Care Information
Inc. (DBHC). In this position, she was responsible for customer
service, training and consulting services. She served as Product
Manager for HEDIS and CompeteTM
applications and Engagement Manager for DBHC's strategic planning and
marketing engagements. Prior to establishing New Solutions, Inc. in
1984, Ms. Erickson had a prominent career as Vice President of a New
Jersey based hospital and health care consulting firm (1981-1984) and
as such was responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily
operations of the firm's strategic planning, marketing and operational
review functions. Ms. Erickson has presented papers to local and
national organizations on maternal/infant and senior citizen health
care and consumer health issues. She holds a bachelor's degree in
sociology from Drew University and a master's degree from Rutgers
University, where she specialized in health planning, policy and
management. She is listed in Who's Who of American Women and is a
member of the American Public Health Association, the Society for
Health Planning of the American Hospital Association, and the American
Management Association. She is Past President of the Health Planning
& Marketing Society of New Jersey.
